Shropshire-born composer Jonty Lefroy Watt’s song cycle Roma Indicta – settings of poems by Zadie Loft reflecting a summer spent in Rome – features at the centre of this special recital from the talented young duo of Lucy Gibbs mezzo-soprano and Declan Hickey guitar, which will also include a selection of folk-song arrangements by Benjamin Britten and songs by Fauré and Schubert.
