Renowned Ukrainian instrumentalist and singer Galyna Grigoriadi performs on the bandura, a unique, traditional 62-string folk instrument and a recognised symbol of Ukrainian culture. Through her music, she introduces audiences to the distinctive sound of the bandura and the richness of Ukrainian folk-song.
Alongside her concert work, Galyna is committed to inspiring new interest in the bandura. She established the Dnipro Ensemble in Gloucester, as well as forming an a cappella choir in Hereford where members share in Ukrainian culture through song.
