South Wales: Three adult siblings must care for their emotionally unstable mother as they try to scrape together a living. Fascinated with American culture, they emulate the hard-living lifestyle of the Beat Generation authors of the 1950s. Starring Siân Phillips and Matthew Rhys with a soundtrack featuring the Manic Street Preachers, Catatonia and the Velvet Underground.
