Distinguished cellist Clare O’Connell, known for her wonderfully innovative performances, her new music commissions and her role as a curator of contemporary classical music, has put together an intriguing recital which brings together very old and very new music, not as a contrast but as a single sacred space.
The programme includes works by J S Bach, Edmund Finnis, Natalie Klouda, Marin Marais, James MacMillan, Dietrich Stoeffken and John Tavener.
