Benefactors, Patrons and Friends
There are a growing number of individuals who regularly support the Presteigne Festival, and we’d love to widen our Family of philanthropists still further. We hope you will wish to add your encouragement – our individual giving schemes continue to be a hugely important financial lifeline for the Festival.
Festival Benefactor
Festival Benefactors are a dedicated group of supporters who help to ensure continued success for the Presteigne Festival. 2024 single membership is £425 (£325 + £100 eligible for GiftAid) or joint membership £850 (£650 + £200 eligible for GiftAid). Festival Benefactors are afforded the following benefits:
- One (or two) Premium tickets for each Festival event as required
- Priority Booking (including extra tickets as required)
- Complimentary Programme Book
- Listing in the Programme Book
- Invitation to an exclusive drinks reception with the Artistic Director, Festival artists and composers
- Invitation to the Opening Reception.
Festival Patron
For the 2024 Festival, the cost of Patronage is as follows: single membership £325 (one ticket per event) or joint membership £650 (two tickets per event). Festival Patrons are afforded these benefits:
- One (or two) Premium tickets for each Festival event as required
- Priority Booking (including extra tickets as required)
- Complimentary Programme Book
- Listing in the Programme Book
- Invitation to the Opening Reception.
Festival Friend
If you wish to support the Festival but perhaps wish to attend fewer events, why not become a Festival Friend? The annual subscription is £75 and attracts these benefits:
- Priority Booking
- Complimentary Programme Book
- Listing in the Programme Book
- Invitation to the Opening Reception.
Festival Orchestra Chair Scheme
Last year, a number of audience members asked if it might be possible to sponsor individual members of Presteigne’s wonderfully talented Festival Orchestra. The new ‘Orchestra Chair’ scheme enables Festival supporters to do just that.
Thanks to a generous donation, several chairs (including that of the orchestra leader), are already sponsored. The cost for sponsoring a chair is £750 for a principal player or £500 for a sub-principal string player.
Individuals or companies supporting the scheme will be afforded the same advantages as Festival Friends, but will also be invited to a special reception with members of the Festival Orchestra and the Artistic Director.
